Today I saw the first signs of spring. It’s that seemingly magical moment when the plants and trees break dormancy and slowly erupt with vibrant colors. I look forward to this time all winter long. It’s exciting to see the fruit trees and other productive plants coming to life. The comfrey we cut back to the ground several months ago is bursting out of the earth with spotless, fuzzy leaves.
Here are a few images I captured around our East Texas Homestead on my iPhone today.
