Why This Connector Is on the Homestead

The EG4 WallMount batteries use a quick-connect cable system instead of traditional lug-and-bolt terminals. The black connector is for the negative side. If you are running EG4 WallMount batteries, you need these connectors to make the battery-to-cable connection. They are also replacement parts if your original connector gets damaged.

What Is the EG4 WallMount Connector System?

EG4 WallMount batteries use color-coded quick-connect ports instead of exposed terminals. The system is simple:

• Orange connector: Positive terminal
• Black connector: Negative terminal
• All-weather rated: Designed for both indoor and outdoor WallMount battery installations
• Tool-free connection: Plug and play, no wrench needed for the battery side

The connector attaches to the battery port on one end and accepts your cable on the other. This keeps live terminals covered and makes battery swaps fast. You do not need to torque anything on the battery side, just plug it in.

How I Use It on My System

The black negative connector plugs into each EG4 WallMount battery and provides the cable connection point for the negative side of the circuit. From there, cable runs to the bus bar and then through the Victron Lynx M10, Nader breaker, 250A Class T fuse, and out to the EG4 12000XP inverter.

Installation Tips

• Match colors: Black goes to negative, orange goes to positive. Never cross them.
