What Is the GoldenMate Orion1000?

The GoldenMate Orion1000 is a 12.8V 100Ah lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery designed for portable and stationary energy storage. With 1280Wh of capacity and a robust Battery Management System (BMS), it powers RVs, boats, camping setups, and small off-grid applications. The Orion1000 uses Grade A+ LiFePO4 cells, which provide superior safety, thermal stability, and cycle life compared to other lithium chemistries. At 4000+ cycles, this battery will deliver reliable power for a decade or more.

  • Warranty: 5 years

Key Features and How I Use It

On the homestead, I use the GoldenMate Orion1000 as a portable power source for projects away from my main electrical system. When I am working in the barn or outbuilding, I grab the Orion1000 and a small inverter to run power tools, lights, and chargers. The compact size makes it easy to carry, and at around 25 lbs, it is light enough that I do not think twice about moving it around.

For camping trips, the Orion1000 powers our campsite setup – LED string lights, portable fridge, phone and tablet charging, and even a small fan on hot nights. One charge lasts the entire weekend with room to spare. The BMS handles all the protection automatically, so I never worry about over-discharging or accidentally shorting the terminals.
